  • Annual Intervarsity Games (AIG) – Traditional series vs CUHK across multiple sports.
  • Jackie Chan Challenge Cup – Hong Kong Universities ball games tournament (selected sports only). (TBC)
  • Other university invitationals or local sport leagues.

    # Not Eligible to Participate:
    • Part-time students
    • Individuals over the age of 35
    • HKU SPACE students enrolled in the Diploma in Foundation Studies
    • Students from HKU SPACE International College

Overseas Competitions

Some HKU sports teams may be invited/approved to compete overseas. Extra planning is needed for travel, safety and funding.

  • Discuss potential overseas events with your Team Advisor as early as possible.
  • Use the official overseas competition form to request approval and, if eligible, funding support.
  • Make sure your team has travel insurance, first aid supplies and emergency contacts in place.
  • After the event, submit a short report with results and a financial summary.
